#### 169 Retention of records for prescribed period 169 Retention of records for prescribed period > An association must cause the following to be retained for 7 years or another period prescribed by the regulations— > > > (a) the records of the proceedings at its meetings, > > > (b) its financial statements and accounting records, > > > (c) the records required to be recorded in relation to notices and orders served on it, > > > (d) copies of correspondence received and sent by it, > > > (e) notices of its meetings and of meetings of its association committee, > > > (f) proxies delivered to the association, > > > (g) voting papers relating to motions for resolutions by the association and to the election of officers or its association committee, > > > (h) records given to the association by its managing agent relating to the exercise of functions by the managing agent, > > > (i) notices specifying an address for service, > > > (j) other documents prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this section. > > Maximum penalty—5 penalty units.
