7A Provisions of other Acts that do not apply
(1) [Section 7A Renumbered by No. 4 of 2021, s. 12, Applied:01 Mar 2021] [Section 7A Amended by No. 30 of 2016, Sched. 2, Applied:16 Nov 2016] [Section 7A Inserted by No. 54 of 2013, s. 7, Applied:04 Mar 2013] The Personal Information Protection Act 2004 , section 24(1) of the Custodial Inspector Act 2016 , section 26(1) of the Ombudsman Act 1978 and section 37 of the Health Complaints Act 1995 do not apply in relation to any information collected for communication to or communicated to the Commission of Inquiry into Institutional Child Sexual Abuse established on 4 March 2013.
(2) [Section 7A Subsection (2) inserted by No. 4 of 2021, s. 12, Applied:01 Mar 2021] The regulations may prescribe certain Acts, or certain provisions of Acts, as Acts or provisions that do not apply in relation to any information collected, or used, by or on behalf of a prescribed Commission.
