37A Determination of fares and charges (1) The Minister may, by notice in the Gazette, determine: (a) a fare or charge to be charged for the hire or use of a private hire car; or (b) the method to be used to calculate such a fare or charge. (2) A person must not charge a fare or charge for the hire or use of a private hire car except in accordance with subsection (1). Maximum penalty: 8 penalty units.
