18 Equal treatment of parties
(Model Law art 18)
The parties must be treated with equality and each party must be given
a reasonable opportunity of presenting the party’s case.
Note This section differs from the Model Law to the extent that it requires a
party to be given a ‘reasonable’, instead of ‘full’, opportunity of
presenting the party’s case.
