17J Court-ordered interim measures
(Model Law art 17J)
(1) The court has the same power of issuing an interim measure in
relation to arbitration proceedings as it has in relation to proceedings
in courts.
(2) The court is to exercise the power in accordance with its own
procedures taking into account the specific features of a domestic
commercial arbitration.
Note This section is substantially the same as the Model Law, art 17J but has
been modified to the extent necessary to apply art 17J as incorporated in
this Act in the context of domestic commercial arbitrations.
