#### 28 Review by Secretary of certain temporary action directions 28 Review by Secretary of certain temporary action directions > > (1) A proprietor of a coal mine to whom a direction under section 27 (1) (c) (i) has been given may make a request in writing to the Secretary to review the direction. > > > (2) On receiving a request, the Secretary is to review the direction and may— > > > > > (a) confirm the direction, or > > > > > (b) disallow the whole or part of the direction, or > > > > > (c) amend the direction. > > > (3) The Secretary must give the following persons notice in writing of the Secretary’s decision as to the review— > > > > > (a) the proprietor of the coal mine, > > > > > (b) the Chief Executive. > > > (4) A proprietor of a coal mine may not request more than one review in respect of any particular direction.
