#### 24 Exemption from Part by Chief Executive 24 Exemption from Part by Chief Executive > > (1) The Chief Executive may, by order in writing, exempt any specified work or subdivision or class of work or subdivision or any specified person or class of persons from the operation of any of the provisions of this Part. > > > (2) An exemption granted by the Chief Executive may— > > > > > (a) be granted subject to conditions, and > > > > > (b) apply generally or be limited in its application by reference to specified exceptions or factors, and > > > > > (c) apply differently according to different factors of a specified kind, and > > > > > (d) be granted for a specified period or for an indefinite period, and > > > > > (e) if granted for a specified period, be granted before, during or after that period. > > > (3) An exemption that is granted for— > > > > > (a) a specified period remains in force for that period, and > > > > > (b) an indefinite period remains in force until it is revoked. > > > > A condition of an exemption may, according to its terms, continue in force after the exemption has ceased to be in force. > > > (4) The regulations may make provision for or with respect to applications to the Chief Executive for an exemption under this section.
