sec.177 Alternate directors
In the absence of a director from a meeting of the board, a person appointed by the board under the rules of the co-operative concerned to act as an alternate for the director (an alternate director ) may act in the place of the director. The rules of the co-operative may include provisions regulating the term of office, vacation of or removal from office, and remuneration of an alternate director. (sec.177-ssec.1) In the absence of a director from a meeting of the board, a person appointed by the board under the rules of the co-operative concerned to act as an alternate for the director (an alternate director ) may act in the place of the director.
