sec.33 Formation meetings held under the repealed Act, s 23
This section applies if— before the commencement, a formation meeting was held under section 23 of the repealed Act in relation to a corporation; and immediately before the commencement, an application for registration of the corporation as a cooperative had not been made under section 22 of the repealed Act. The formation meeting is taken to have been held under section 30 of the Law. A special resolution made at the meeting approving the proposed registration is taken to be a special resolution approving registration as a co-operative under the Law. (sec.33-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, a formation meeting was held under section 23 of the repealed Act in relation to a corporation; and immediately before the commencement, an application for registration of the corporation as a cooperative had not been made under section 22 of the repealed Act. (sec.33-ssec.2) The formation meeting is taken to have been held under section 30 of the Law. (sec.33-ssec.3) A special resolution made at the meeting approving the proposed registration is taken to be a special resolution approving registration as a co-operative under the Law.
- (a) before the commencement, a formation meeting was held under section 23 of the repealed Act in relation to a corporation; and
