#### 62 Amendment by resolution of board 62 Amendment by resolution of board > > (1) The rules of a co-operative may be amended by a resolution passed by the board if the amendment does no more than give effect to a requirement, direction, restriction or prohibition imposed or given under the authority of this Law. > > > (2) If the rules of a co-operative are amended under this section, the co-operative must cause the amendment to be notified in writing to its members as soon as practicable after the amendment takes effect and in any event no later than the day when notice of the next annual general meeting of the co-operative after the amendment takes effect is given to the members.
