#### 532 Holding of special meeting 532 Holding of special meeting > > (1) The Registrar may direct the time and place at which a special meeting is to be held and the matters to be discussed and decided at the meeting. > > > (2) The Registrar must give the notice to members of the holding of the special meeting that the Registrar considers appropriate (despite a provision in the rules of the co-operative as to the giving of notice). > > > (3) The special meeting has all the powers of a meeting called under the rules of the co-operative and has power to appoint its own chairperson (despite a rule of the co-operative to the contrary). > > > (4) The Registrar or another person nominated by the Registrar may attend and address the meeting.
