#### 516 Copies or extracts of records to be admitted in evidence 516 Copies or extracts of records to be admitted in evidence > > (1) In any legal proceedings (whether under this Law or otherwise), a copy of or extract from a record relating to affairs of a co-operative is admissible in evidence as if it were the original record or the relevant part of the original record. > > > (2) However, a copy of or extract from a record is not admissible in evidence under subsection (1) unless it is proved the copy or extract is a true copy of the record or of the relevant part of the record. > > > (3) For the purposes of subsection (2), evidence that a copy of or extract from a record is a true copy of the record or of part of the record may be given either orally or by an affidavit or statutory declaration by a person who has compared the copy or extract with the record or the part of the record.
