#### 182 Automatic disqualification for offences 182 Automatic disqualification for offences > > (1) A person who has been convicted of an offence under this Law or a corresponding co-operatives law is disqualified from managing co-operatives during the period of 5 years after the conviction or, if sentenced to imprisonment, after his or her release from prison. > > > (2) A person who has, whether before or after the commencement of this section in this jurisdiction, been convicted of an offence under a previous law of this or any other jurisdiction relating to co-operatives is disqualified from managing co-operatives during the period of 5 years after the conviction or, if sentenced to imprisonment, after his or her release from prison. > > > (3) In proceedings for an offence arising under this Division in relation to this section, a certificate by an authority prescribed by the National Regulations for the purposes of this subsection stating that a person has been convicted of an offence under a stated law on a stated date is evidence the person was convicted of that offence on that date. > > > (4) In proceedings for an offence arising under this Division in relation to this section, a certificate by an authority prescribed by the National Regulations for the purposes of this subsection stating that a person was released from prison on a stated date is evidence the person was released from prison on that date.
