#### 152 Notice of meeting 152 Notice of meeting > > (1) At least 21 days notice must be given to members of a co-operative of a meeting at which an active membership resolution is to be proposed. > > > (2) The notice must, in addition to the other matters required to be stated— > > > > > (a) state whether the member is eligible to vote on the resolution; and > > > > > (b) state the full text of the proposed resolution; and > > > > > (c) contain a copy of section 156. > > > (3) If the notice to a member states that he or she is not eligible to vote on a resolution, the member may, after endeavouring to settle the matter with the co-operative, apply to the Registrar for a decision as to the member’s eligibility. > > > (4) The Registrar may decide the matter, on the information available to the Registrar, by direction in writing to the co-operative and the member. > > > (5) The Registrar’s decision as to eligibility has effect but only if given before the meeting concerned is due to be held.
