#### 57 Decisions of the Board (1) This section applies to the consideration by the Board of an application or of an advertisement. (2) The Director may give directions as to the constitution of the Board for the purpose of that consideration. (3) If the members of the Board dealing with a matter are divided in opinion, but not equally divided, the decision of the majority prevails. (4) If the members of the Board are equally divided in opinion: (a) if the Board constituted for the purposes of the matter includes the Director—the Director has a casting vote as well as a deliberative vote; and (b) in any other case—the Director must vary the constitution of the Board by adding 1 or more other members and the matter is to be considered again. (5) The Director may decide the way in which decisions of the Board, and opinions of individual members, are to be recorded.
