40 Attendance of child at certain films – offence by parents and guardians (1) A parent or guardian of a child must not permit the child to attend the exhibition of a film in a public place if the film is: (a) classified RC, X 18+ or R 18+; or (b) unclassified but would, if classified, be classified RC, X 18+ or (a) intentionally permitting the child to attend the exhibition; and (b) knowledge that the film is classified RC, X 18+ or R 18+ or circumstance that the film would, if classified, be classified RC, X 18+ or R 18+.
