> > (1) In this Division—
> >
> > manager, in relation to a protected person’s estate, means the person having the management of the estate under the [NSW Trustee and Guardian Act 2009](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-049).

> > protected person has the same meaning as it has in the [NSW Trustee and Guardian Act 2009](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-049).
>
> > (2) This Division does not apply to claims made or compensation awarded under any of the following Acts—
> >
> > > (a) the [Workers Compensation Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-070),
> >
> > > (b) the [Workers Compensation (Bush Fire, Emergency and Rescue Services) Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-083),
> >
> > > (c) the [Workers’ Compensation (Dust Diseases) Act 1942](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1942-014),
> >
> > > (d) the [Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1998-086).

> > (3) This Division does not limit the operation of the [Minors (Property and Contracts) Act 1970](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1970-060) or section 16 of the [Infants’ Custody and Settlements Act 1899](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1899-039).
