7 Motor accident amendments
> > (1) Section 77 of the [Motor Accidents Act 1988](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1988-102) and section 141 of the [Motor Accidents Compensation Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-041) apply to and in respect of proceedings commenced in a court before 3 September 2002 as if they had not been repealed.

> > (2) Section 75 of the [Motor Accidents Act 1988](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1988-102) and section 139 of the [Motor Accidents Compensation Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-041) apply to and in respect of proceedings commenced in a court before the commencement of section 5T as if they had not been repealed.
