208 Protection of insurer for pt 15.3 charge
(1) Despite anything in this part, a payment made by an insurer under the
contract of insurance without actual notice of the existence of a
charge under this part is, to the extent of that payment, a valid
discharge to the insurer.
(2) An insurer is not liable under this part for any greater amount than is
fixed by the contract of insurance between the insurer and the insured.
