187 Application—pt 14.2 (1) This part applies despite any obligation of the lawyer to act in accordance with the instructions or wishes of the client. (2) This part does not apply to legal services provided by a lawyer in relation to a claim for damages at any time before the lawyer gives the certification required under section 188 for the claim. (3) Also, this part does not apply to a claim for damages if the court considers that it is in the interests of justice for the claim to be continued and makes an order to that effect.
