18 Saving of rights additional to pt 2.4 (1) The rights given by this part for the benefit of estates of dead people are additional to, and do not limit, rights given by part 3.1 (Wrongful act or omission causing death). (2) This part as it relates to causes of action against estates of dead people applies in relation to causes of action under part 3.1 in the same way as it applies in relation to other causes of action that survive under this part. (3) The rights given by this part for the benefit of estates of dead people, and the obligations under this part against estates of dead people, are additional to, and do not limit, rights or obligations under the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2019.
