422 Apportionment of conditions of entry on severance
(1) This section applies if the reversion of a lease is severed and the rent
or other reservations under the lease are apportioned among the
reversionary interests.
(2) The assignee of a part of the reversion is, in relation to the apportioned
rent or other reservation allotted to the assignee, entitled to the benefit
of all the powers of re-entry for nonpayment of the rent or failure to
render the other reservation in the same way as if the powers of re-
entry had been given to the assignee as incident to the assignee’s part
of the reversion in relation to the rent or other reservation allotted to
the assignee.
