214 Provisions about supplemental instruments
(1) An instrument (the supplemental instrument) expressed to be
supplemental to a previous instrument is, as far as practicable, to be
read, and has effect, as if the supplemental instrument contained a full
recital of the previous instrument.
(2) This section does not operate to give a right to production of the
previous instrument.

(3) A purchaser may accept the same evidence that the previous
instrument does not affect the title as the purchaser could have
accepted if it had only been mentioned in the supplemental
instrument.
