202 Creation of interests in land by word of mouth
(1) This section applies to an interest in land if the interest is—
(a) created by word of mouth; and
(b) not put into writing signed by the person creating it or by the
person’s agent properly authorised in writing.
(2) The interest is an interest at will only, whether or not consideration is
given for it.
