#### 304 Directions and instructions—section 23 of the Act (1) CASA may give or issue directions or instructions to all or any of the persons holding permissions under section 23 of the Act, being directions or instructions with respect to matters affecting the safe navigation and operation, or the maintenance, of aircraft. (2) A person must not contravene a direction or instruction. Penalty: 50 penalty units. (3) An offence against subregulation (2) is an offence of strict liability. > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
