#### 8 Costs and expenses of compliance 8 Costs and expenses of compliance > > (1) The Tribunal may order a party who applied for a summons to produce or give evidence, or both, to pay the amount of any reasonable loss or expense incurred in complying with the summons. > > > (2) If an order is made under subsection (1), the Tribunal must fix the amount, or direct that it be fixed, in accordance with the Tribunal’s usual procedure in relation to costs. > > > (3) An amount fixed under subsection (2) is separate from and in addition to— > > > > > (a) conduct money paid to the person summoned, or > > > > > (b) witness allowances or expenses payable to the person summoned.
