9Purpose

9 Purpose (a) allow the City the flexibility to determine procedures for meetings of members by resolution; and (b) complement the provisions of the Act regarding meetings of members. Notes for by-law 9 1 Part 6.1 of the Act provides many of the important rules for meetings of the members. 2 Part 7.4 of the Act provides for a code of conduct for the members of the council and its committees. 10 Procedures for meetings of members (1) Subject to the Act, the procedures for the conduct of the business of the City and its members may be determined by the City, by resolution. (2) Meetings of members must be conducted in accordance with any procedures determined by the City.
