sec.312 Existing Ministerial extensions of time for adoption of annual report
This section applies if— before the commencement, the Minister had, under former section 174(3), extended the time by which an annual report of the council must be adopted; and immediately before the commencement— the extension had not expired; and the council had not adopted the annual report. The extension continues in effect as if the Local Government Legislation (Empowering Councils) Amendment Regulation 2025 , section 5 had not commenced. s 312 ins 2025 SL No. 161 s 13 (sec.312-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, the Minister had, under former section 174(3), extended the time by which an annual report of the council must be adopted; and immediately before the commencement— the extension had not expired; and the council had not adopted the annual report. (sec.312-ssec.2) The extension continues in effect as if the Local Government Legislation (Empowering Councils) Amendment Regulation 2025 , section 5 had not commenced.
