sec.296 Temporary continuation of wards
Section 4 and schedule 1, as in force immediately before the commencement, continue to apply until the conclusion of the 2020 quadrennial elections. This section applies despite section 4 and schedule 1. In this section— 2020 quadrennial elections means the quadrennial elections held in 2020. s 296 ins 2019 SL No. 259 s 10 (sec.296-ssec.1) Section 4 and schedule 1, as in force immediately before the commencement, continue to apply until the conclusion of the 2020 quadrennial elections. (sec.296-ssec.2) This section applies despite section 4 and schedule 1. (sec.296-ssec.3) In this section— 2020 quadrennial elections means the quadrennial elections held in 2020.
