sec.285 Wards of Brisbane for 2016 quadrennial elections— Act , s 17 (2)
For the purpose of the 2016 quadrennial elections— the wards of Brisbane are named in schedule 1A; and the boundaries of each ward are shown on map LGB 1, sheets 2 to 27; and the boundaries of each ward are shown on the sheet number of map LGB 1 stated in schedule 1A opposite the ward’s name. To remove any doubt, it is declared that— for the purpose of the 2016 quadrennial elections the name and boundaries of each ward of Brisbane is as stated in schedule 1A instead of schedule 1; and for all other purposes the name and boundaries of each ward of Brisbane is as stated in section 4. This section applies despite section 4. In this section— 2016 quadrennial elections means the quadrennial elections held in 2016 under the Local Government Electoral Act 2011 . s 285 ins 2015 SL No. 182 s 4 (sec.285-ssec.1) For the purpose of the 2016 quadrennial elections— the wards of Brisbane are named in schedule 1A; and the boundaries of each ward are shown on map LGB 1, sheets 2 to 27; and the boundaries of each ward are shown on the sheet number of map LGB 1 stated in schedule 1A opposite the ward’s name. (sec.285-ssec.2) To remove any doubt, it is declared that— for the purpose of the 2016 quadrennial elections the name and boundaries of each ward of Brisbane is as stated in schedule 1A instead of schedule 1; and for all other purposes the name and boundaries of each ward of Brisbane is as stated in section 4. (sec.285-ssec.3) This section applies despite section 4. (sec.285-ssec.4) In this section— 2016 quadrennial elections means the quadrennial elections held in 2016 under the Local Government Electoral Act 2011 .
- (a) the wards of Brisbane are named in schedule 1A; and
- (b) the boundaries of each ward are shown on map LGB 1, sheets 2 to 27; and
- (c) the boundaries of each ward are shown on the sheet number of map LGB 1 stated in schedule 1A opposite the ward’s name.
- (a) for the purpose of the 2016 quadrennial elections the name and boundaries of each ward of Brisbane is as stated in schedule 1A instead of schedule 1; and
- (b) for all other purposes the name and boundaries of each ward of Brisbane is as stated in section 4.
