### sec.230 Evidence of proceedings of council This section applies to a document that— purports to be a copy of an entry in a record of the proceedings of— the council; or a committee of the council; and purports to have been signed at the time when the entry was made by— the mayor; or the chairperson of the council; or for a committee of the council—the committee chairperson; and is certified by the chief executive officer to be a true copy of the document. The document is evidence— of the proceedings; and that the proceedings were properly held. (sec.230-ssec.1) This section applies to a document that— purports to be a copy of an entry in a record of the proceedings of— the council; or a committee of the council; and purports to have been signed at the time when the entry was made by— the mayor; or the chairperson of the council; or for a committee of the council—the committee chairperson; and is certified by the chief executive officer to be a true copy of the document. (sec.230-ssec.2) The document is evidence— of the proceedings; and that the proceedings were properly held. - (a) purports to be a copy of an entry in a record of the proceedings of— (i) the council; or (ii) a committee of the council; and - (i) the council; or - (ii) a committee of the council; and - (b) purports to have been signed at the time when the entry was made by— (i) the mayor; or (ii) the chairperson of the council; or (iii) for a committee of the council—the committee chairperson; and - (i) the mayor; or - (ii) the chairperson of the council; or - (iii) for a committee of the council—the committee chairperson; and - (c) is certified by the chief executive officer to be a true copy of the document. - (i) the council; or - (ii) a committee of the council; and - (i) the mayor; or - (ii) the chairperson of the council; or - (iii) for a committee of the council—the committee chairperson; and - (a) of the proceedings; and - (b) that the proceedings were properly held.
