### sec.229 Evidence of local laws
In any proceedings, a certified copy of a local law or consolidated version of a local law is evidence of the content of the local law or consolidated version of the local law.
A certified copy of a local law or consolidated version of a local law is a copy that has been certified by the chief executive officer to be the local law or consolidated version as made by the council.
In any proceedings, a copy of the gazette that contains a notice of making a local law is—
evidence of the content of the notice; and
evidence that the local law has been properly made.
In any proceedings, the competence of the council to make a particular local law is presumed unless the matter is raised.
(sec.229-ssec.1) In any proceedings, a certified copy of a local law or consolidated version of a local law is evidence of the content of the local law or consolidated version of the local law.
(sec.229-ssec.2) A certified copy of a local law or consolidated version of a local law is a copy that has been certified by the chief executive officer to be the local law or consolidated version as made by the council.
