H2.7Where a manager or supervisor assesses that an employee’s work performance is demonstrated

Where a manager or supervisor assesses that an employee’s work performance is demonstrated as being below expected standards after having previously discussed concerns with the employee in line with subclause H2.4, the manager or supervisor must inform the employee in writing of this assessment and the reasons for it. The employee must be invited by the manager or supervisor to provide written comments on this assessment, including any reasons that in the employee’s view may have contributed to their recent work performance.
