If an employee’s incremental point is reduced in accordance with paragraph H2.17.3, or the employee’s classification is permanently reduced in accordance with paragraph H2.17.4 the date the sanction takes effect will become the new anniversary date for the purpose of future incremental advancement. Any higher duties worked prior to the date of sanction do not count towards incremental advancement at a higher level.
