Where an employee is suspended and later found guilty of a criminal offence (whether or not a conviction is recorded), or is found guilty of misconduct and whose employment is terminated because of the offence or misconduct, a period of suspension under this clause does not count as service for any purpose, unless the chief executive determines otherwise.
