If an employee has the equivalent of 2 years’ accrued credit of annual leave and unless exceptional operational circumstances exist, the employee and relevant manager or supervisor must agree, and implement an annual leave usage plan to ensure the employee’s accrued leave credit will not exceed an accrued 2.5 years worth of annual leave credit.
