The chief executive may approve an employee taking adoption, permanent or long term care leave in a non-continuous manner, provided a period of annual leave or long service leave in between the periods of adoption, permanent or long term care leave will not be approved until the employee has used all of the employee’s paid adoption, permanent or long term care leave entitlement within 52 weeks of the commencement of the adoption, permanent or long term caring responsibility.
