Subject to subclause E10.9 and subclause E10.10, where an employee who is entitled to be absent from duty on a day, or a part of a day, that is a public holiday, and the employee is absent from duty, the employee will be paid at the employee's ordinary hourly rate for the employee's ordinary hours of work on that day or part-day.
