Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Direction revokes an earlier fluoridation Direction and requires the Territory’s Administrator to implement a Western Australian advisory committee recommendation to fluoridate the public water supply at 0.7 mg/L, taking effect the day after registration. It legally binds the Administrator and will necessitate operational changes to water treatment, but the instrument does not allocate funding, identify implementers, or set monitoring, enforcement, or technical procedures.
