23 Territory Controller may give directions
(1) The Territory Controller may give directions to an authorised officer in relation to exercising powers under this Division, either generally or in relation to a particular matter. (2) An authorised officer must comply, as far as practicable, with any directions given to the authorised officer by the Territory Controller. (3) A direction may be given orally or in writing, but if given orally must be put in writing as soon as practicable. (4) However, failure to put a direction in writing does not make the direction or anything done under it invalid.
