49A Territory transition

Subject to sections 38A, 38B and 47A, nothing in this Act: (a) affects an action or proceeding commenced before the commencement of the Territories Law Reform Act 1992; or (b) enables an action or proceeding to be commenced or maintained which is barred by a law in force in the Territory that was repealed by the Territories Law Reform Act 1992; or (c) subject to paragraph (b), prevents the commencement and maintenance of an action or proceeding within the time allowed by a law in force in the Territory that is repealed by the Territories Law Reform Act 1992 on a cause of action which accrued before the commencement of that Act.
