38 The Hutchins School
The Hutchins School shall be conducted in the manner and according to the regulations usually adopted in English public schools, and the object of the Hutchins School is to afford the means of imparting the education usually given at English public schools, so far as the conditions in the State of Tasmania allow of the same being carried out and which shall not be inconsistent with or contrary to the principles of the Church of England in Tasmania.
