sec.93 Request for subpoena
A person may request a subpoena. However, a person may request a subpoena directed at a child only with the leave of the court. There are limitations on particular children being called to give evidence under the Child Protection Act , section 112 , the Adoption Act , section 238 and the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 2023 , section 75 . The request must— be in the approved form; and state the name of the person to whom the subpoena is directed; and attach the subpoena that is to be issued by the court; and be filed. r 93 amd 2024 SL No. 76 s 38 (sec.93-ssec.1) A person may request a subpoena. (sec.93-ssec.2) However, a person may request a subpoena directed at a child only with the leave of the court.
