sec.81 Particular children may be asked to make affidavit only with court’s leave
A person may ask a child, other than a child who is a respondent, to swear or affirm an affidavit in a proceeding only with the leave of the court. There are limitations on particular children being called to give evidence under the Child Protection Act , section 112 , the Adoption Act , section 238 and the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 2023 , section 75 . r 81 amd 2024 SL No. 76 s 36
