sec.38 Term of office of current Childrens Court magistrates

This section applies to a person holding an appointment as a Childrens Court magistrate immediately before the commencement of this section. The person’s appointment continues on the same conditions until the person ceases to hold the office of Childrens Court magistrate under section 15. Subsection (2) applies despite a term of appointment stated in the person’s instrument of appointment. Subsection (2) does not affect the power of the Governor in Council under this Act to change the conditions of the appointment. s 38 ins 2014 No. 28 s 47 (sec.38-ssec.1) This section applies to a person holding an appointment as a Childrens Court magistrate immediately before the commencement of this section.
