533 Court may reserve question of law for determination by Supreme Court (1) If a question of law arises in a proceeding before the Court, the Court, of its own motion or on the application of any person who is a party to the proceeding, may, with the consent of the President, reserve the question in the form of a special case stated for the opinion of the Supreme Court. (2) If a question of law has been reserved for the opinion of the Supreme Court under subsection (1), the Court cannot— (a) finally determine the matter until the opinion of the Supreme Court has been given; or (b) proceed in a manner or make a determination that is inconsistent with the opinion of the Supreme Court on the question of law.
