488E Seizure (1) In carrying out a search of a person under Division 3 an officer may seize any article or thing of a kind referred to in section 488AD(3)(a) that is found in the person's possession or produced in response to a request under section 488AD(3)(b). (2) An officer who seizes any article or thing under subsection (1) must inform the officer in charge. (3) The officer in charge must deal, in accordance with this Division, with any article or thing seized under this section.
