274 When Court may make order under this Part The Court may make an order under this Part in respect of a child if the Court finds— (a) that the child is in need of protection; or S. 274(b) amended by No. 61/2014 s. 15.[[1]](#endnote-2) (b) that there is a substantial and irreconcilable difference between the person who has care of the child and the child to such an extent that the care and control of the child are likely to be seriously disrupted.
