217 Referral of application to conciliation conference S. 217(1) amended by No. 52/2013 s. 14(2). (1) The Family Division may, on the application of a party or without that application, order that any application made to the Family Division under this Act be referred for a conciliation conference to one or two convenors appointed under section 227. S. 217(2) amended by No. 52/2013 s. 14(2). (2) The purpose of the conciliation conference is to give the parties to the application the opportunity to agree or advise on the action that should be taken in the best interests of the child. S. 217(3) repealed by No. 52/2013 s. 14(3). S. 218 (Heading) amended by No. 52/2013 s. 15(1).
