151 Return of child at request of parent with custody (1) If a parent who does not have custody of a child is a party to a long-term child care agreement, the person who does have custody of the child may request the service provider to return the child to that person. (2) As soon as is practicable after receiving a request under subsection (1), the service provider must notify the parent who was a party to the agreement of the making of the request. (3) Subject to any provision to the contrary made by or under the authority of this or any other Act, the service provider must cause the child to be returned to the person who has custody of the child— (a) as soon as practicable after notifying the parent under subsection (2); or (b) within a reasonable time if the parent cannot be notified.
